The centre was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Dr. Mahesh Sharma and senior diplomats of various client governments. Spread across 67,000 sq. ft. at the Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, the centre is VFS Global’s largest Visa Application Centre in Asia, and is located in the capital’s prime commercial hub, Connaught Place.

With a total of 153 counters, the centre is equipped to process in excess of 12,000 visa applications per day.
