				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SalamAir, Oman’s Low Cost Carrier, is celebrating its 9th anniversary, marking nearly a decade of delivering affordable, reliable, and accessible air travel, while strengthening its role in connecting the Sultanate of Oman with the region and beyond.</p>
<p>In 2025, SalamAir operated 22,164 flights, carried over 3.4 million passengers, and expanded its network to over 44 destinations across domestic, regional, and international markets. The airline now operates a modern fleet of 15 aircraft, reinforcing its operational capacity and long-term growth strategy. These achievements reflect SalamAir’s promise to contribute positively to the aviation landscape of the Sultanate in accordance with the Vision 2040, with continued network expansion, fleet growth, and increased passenger demand.</p>
<p>These results provide a solid foundation as SalamAir looks ahead with confidence. Plans for 2026 are well established, including the addition of three new aircraft, scheduled for delivery in May, June, and September, further supporting capacity growth and network optimisation. SalamAir recently launched new routes to Port Sudan (January), Damascus (May), Vienna (June), and Medan (July), with further new destinations planned for announcement during 2026, continuing its strategy of diversifying the network toward markets with strong demand and balanced competitive dynamics.</p>

<p><strong>Saudia</strong>, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, and <strong>Air India</strong>, India’s leading global airline, have signed a codeshare agreement that will take effect in February. The agreement introduces a range of benefits for Saudia’s and Air India’s guests, boosting connectivity, enhancing travel experience, strengthening network access, maximising flight options, and supporting growing demand across tourism, business travel, and wider guest segments.</p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">Through the new partnership, guests will enjoy streamlined booking and ticketing, smooth connections using a single itinerary, and baggage check-through to their final destination.</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">The codeshare will provide Saudia’s guests access to major cities across India via Mumbai and Delhi, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Lucknow, and Jaipur and more than 15 other destinations as interline.</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">Air India guests travelling to Jeddah or Riyadh with Air India can take seamless onward connections on Saudia-operated flights to Dammam, Abha, Gassim, Gizan, Madinah, and Taif. The addition of codeshare flights on the Jeddah-Riyadh route now allows guests more flexibility to arrive in one city and depart from another. </span><span lang="en-US">Connections to select complementary international destinations will be added later this year.</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, said: “The codeshare agreement with Air India marks a strategic step forward, given both airlines’ long histories and their shared commitment to increasing connectivity within their home markets and between their countries, while offering guests broader access to more destinations through simplified travel procedures that elevate the overall travel experience.”</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">He added: “Saudia’s presence in India spans over 60 years, during which we’ve proudly served a wide range of guests and helped foster stronger ties between our two nations. Saudia Arabia is a great place to visit, and with seamless e-visas, stopover visas, and also visa-on-arrival for eligible Indian passport holders, it has never been easier to visit the Kingdom.”</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer &amp; Managing Director, Air India, said: “Saudi Arabia is amongst our most important markets in the Middle East, with the country fast transforming into a major international gateway to the region. We are happy to be partnering with Saudia to provide greater access to the large Indian diaspora spread across Saudi Arabia as well as to open up the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving and diverse tourism offerings and remarkable destinations to holidaymakers from India.”</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-GB">Saudia currently has 25 active codeshare agreements, enabling its guests to access more than 100 additional international destinations. These agreements also allow travelers on partner airlines to reach a wide range of domestic destinations in the Kingdom, reinforcing Saudia’s role in expanding global connectivity and bringing the world to Saudi Arabia.</span></p>

The playlists will be available for customers to access once they download the Spotify app. Additionally, by leveraging Spotify’s innovative technology, travellers will receive curated destination suggestions for their next travel, tailored to their music tastes and preferences. They can also visit the IndiGo destination pages for more information on these cities.</p>
<p>Recent data from Spotify revealed that listeners in India search for travel-related music on Spotify an average of 22 lac+ times per month, and the highest volume of these searches can be attributed to Gen Z listeners, particularly 18–24-year-olds. Interestingly, the most common time for these searches is between 3-4pm, and, this year, travel-related music searches on Spotify in India peaked on April 20.</p>
<p>With 6E Shuffle, both brands bring together travel and music — elements that are inseparable and have a huge emotional connection with consumer behaviour, especially when it comes to creating and unlocking core memories. As a part of this collaboration, the brands will release a video featuring I-Pop and film artist, Armaan Malik, to inspire IndiGo travellers to &#8216;tune in and take off in style, as there&#8217;s music for miles&#8217;. The campaign highlights that there’s music for every journey, no matter wherever you go, or whatever the mood, ‘there’s a 6E playlist for that’.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka and Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, have embarked on a codeshare partnership, ushering in seamless travel to multiple new destinations throughout Asia, Africa and Australia for their passengers flying between Colombo and Mahé.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.tnhglobal.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-39400" src="http://www.tnhglobal.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/1.jpg" alt="1" width="1200" height="1799" /></a>Connecting people and places across continents, the collaboration empowers SriLankan Airlines to amplify its position and reach in Africa and passengers of the airline to travel conveniently between Colombo and Mahé twice a week. For Air Seychelles, over 20 destinations are included in the partnership, which includes much requested destinations such as Sydney and Melbourne in Australia as well as other popular stops in India, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.</p>
<p>This new codeshare agreement will allow SriLankan Airlines and Air Seychelles to place their codes on each other’s flights and enable passengers to continue their journey conveniently using a single booking and with their luggage checked in all the way to the final destination. It also means passengers can book their travels with both airlines, through online travel agencies, as well as with local travel agents.</p>
<p>Richard Nuttall, Chief Executive Officer of SriLankan Airlines stated, “We are pleased to boost our codeshare network and presence in the African region through this new partnership. We look forward to working with Air Seychelles to provide our customers more African destination options in the coming years.”</p>
<p>Charles Johnson, Air Seychelles’ Chief Commercial Officer shares “Now that we have been flying to Colombo for over 9 months, the twice-weekly flights have proven successful.  The next step to solidifying our relationship is with this code-share, allowing even more passengers the convenience of a single ticket to more points served by our partner in Asia and Australia.”</p>
<p>Flights under the codeshare agreement are available to book now and will begin operating in May 2024.</p>
