				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jordan is a safe holiday destination that offers diversified and varied tourism experiences. The borders of Jordan are secure; and remain unaffected despite the insurgence in the region. Tourists are pouring in from all over the world and enjoying Jordan’s cultural and family-oriented cities of Amman, Petra, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Aqaba.</p>
<p>Recently a Television Stars Calendar shoot was done in Jordan where a bevy of television beauties travelled to Jordan with their friends and family.</p>
<p>The actors commented on the safety and fun factor of Jordan and immensely enjoyed all the facilities, food, culture and the historical sites and modern cities, apart from enjoying all the water activities.</p>
<p>Said Sara Khan, “An extremely peaceful destination- Jordan enveloped me in a cocoon of sublime safety and as a woman traveler I felt comfortable and safe at all times.” Actor Rubina Dilaik loved Jordan and called it a, “A classic piece of history, The Automobile Museum of Amman houses over 70 classic cars and motorbikes from the personal collection of King Hussein, Jordan’s most beloved King.”</p>
<p>Sukriti Kandpal was amazed with the beauty of Jordan. She said, “the hospitality I received by the people was unparalleled; but, what amazed me most was the quick visa process.”</p>
<p>Krystle D’Souza commented, “Floating on the Dead Sea which is a rich cocktail of minerals, spas, the Dead Sea Salts and magical black mud- Jordan is truly the ultimate wellness destination.”</p>
<p>Then there was Nia Sharma who’s inner poet came alive in Jordan; “The paths untrodden, where it led I was least bothered; all I saw was the deep sea, blue skies and for me that was Jordan.”</p>
<p>Surbhi Jyoti’s favoutire part about Jordan was, “The deep blue of the Red Sea with the pink corals are perfect for all water sports from snorkeling to deep sea diving to banana boat rides or a long leisurely cruise on a yatch.”</p>
<p>Anita Hassanandani called it a, “a truly exotic holiday destination &#8211; from the New Seven Wonder of the World Petra to the desert wilderness of Wadi Rum- Jordan leaves each one of the senses satiated.”</p>
<p>Srishty Rode found the people of Jordan warm, friendly and welcoming.  “Everywhere I went, we were greeted with genuine smiles and warm hospitality.”</p>
<p>Barkha Bisht relished the delicious Jordanian food. “Jordan has fabulous food- bursting with flavor. My particular favorite was the mezze that was served at the beginning of each meal and the grilled kebabs.”</p>

<p>Pooja Gor said that Jordan has a “wealth of history and culture -from the amazing Petra to the Citadel- Jordan’s history makes for a compelling and fascinating story.”</p>
<p>Tina Dutta found Jordan to be the perfect holiday spot- be it for couples, family or a MICE event. “there is something for everyone here,” she said. Additi Gupta, an adventure junkie said, “Jordan was the perfect place for a holiday thanks to the Dead Sea experience, Desert Safari, ancient monuments and the rich culture.”</p>
<p>Vrushika Mehta felt that Jordan has, “A modern infrastructure, great shopping and temperate, comfortable weather all through the year; time spent in Jordan is always pleasant and fun!”</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As an result of the meeting of Tourism Minister Nayef Hmeidli Al- Fayez with Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Raina, the Jordanian Government has approved several measures to uplift the tourism sector. These facilitations were proposed in order to make travelling to Jordan more convenient and worthwhile for people of all nationalities.</p>
<p>The below mentioned measures are applicable with immediate effect:</p>
<p>Waiving visa fees for tourists of all nationalities coming through Jordanian tour operators whether travelling individually or in groups.</p>
<p>The visa fee will be waived on a condition that the traveler spends a minimum of two consecutive nights in Jordan  Reducing visa fees for tourists entering Jordan through land borders.</p>
<p>The visa fee will be reduced from 40 JOD to 10 JOD with a condition that the tourist spends a minimum of three consecutive nights. Waiving the departure tax and entry visa for all low cost and charter flights departing from King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.</p>
<p>Reduction in electricity tariffs for the hotel sector, which will make the hospitality sector more competitive amongst the region.</p>
<p>Dead Sea in Jordan played host to the eminent World Economic Forum that took place on 22nd May 2015. This year’s edition was held in Jordan for the ninth time.</p>
<p>According to World Economic Forum, Jordan perfectly meets all international standards of security. It matches with security standards for VIP attendees, along with first class infrastructure and facilities, as well as, abundant and highly qualified human resources.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jordan Tourism Board in association with Marinating Films and Balaji Telefilms launched ‘Telly Calendar Jordan, 2015’ with a triumphant bang during a gala evening at Villa 69, a plush upscale venue in Mumbai. Shot last year at diverse locations in Jordan such as Dead Sea, Petra, Amman, Aqaba, Wadi Rum the calendar showcases the best images that were shot. The calendar is in a table format with 26 images of the television celebrities and useful information about Jordan that every traveler will want and need!</p>
<p>At the entrance, guests were greeted with dazzling LED spotlights and a rich red carpet. The entrance was flanked by large posters of the images that featured television stars Sara Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Sukirti Kandpal, Krystle D&#8217;Souza, Nia Sharma, Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Srishty Rode, Vrushika Mehta, Barkha Bisht, Pooja Gor, Tina Dutta and Additi Gupta in Jordan.</p>

<p>The evening got more swag, as various guests and small screen stars of India made their way into the venue and the paparazzi went into a crazy over-drive. As guests mingled and chatted; the lights dimmed and accompanied to thumping music the dazzling divas of the calendar shoot took to the ramp and modeled various outfits that were used during the calendar shoot in Jordan.</p>
<p>All the celebrities who had travelled to Jordan shared their experiences on stage about the visa on arrival for Indians, safety and security of traveller; fun experiences, delicious food and the sheer history and culture that Jordan offers. All of them had a gala time in Jordan and shared their wonderful experiences; to name few there was actor Barkha Bisht who said, “I would love to go to Jordan again for my second honeymoon. It is a beautiful, stunning and safe country.”Krystal D’Souza talked about the “sheer grandeur and warm hospitality of Jordanian people”</p>
<p>Post the fashion show, the television stars who had travelled to and shot in Jordan were honored with a trophy of appreciation and a glittering tiara by Ashit Taneja, Country Manager, Jordan Tourism Board and few celebrities.</p>
<p>Many television stars and celebrities were present at the event including Ekta Kapoor, Ajaz Khan, Shabbir Ahluwalia, VJ Andy, Rakhi Sawant, Dolly Bindra, Kamya Panjabi, Arjun Bijlani, Sneha Wagh, Manish Nagdev, Aadesh Chaudhary, Mrunal Jain, Giaa Manek, Kavita Kaushik, Sailesh Gulabani, Ashita Dhawan Gulabani, Karan Tacker, Firoza Khan, Indraneil Sengupta, Vishal Singh, Sana M Khan, Nivedita Basu, Dimple Jhangiani, Amit Sareen, Sumeet Sachdev and Arti Singh among others.</p>
