Radisson debuts into Vietnam
International upscale brand enters Vietnam on idyllic tropical resort island
Radisson Hotel Group has continued to expand its footprint in Vietnam with the signing of the country’s first Radisson resort, located on the paradise island of Phu Quoc.
Radisson Phu Quoc is nestled on Truong Beach, on the island’s sunset-facing west coast with its long stretches of powder-soft sand, lapped by warm turquoise seas. Complementing this tropical location, the hotel will feature 218 spacious sea-facing rooms and suites, with private balconies or terraces.
During the day, guests will be able to soak up the sun on the pristine beach, cool off in a choice of outdoor swimming pools, or simply stroll in the shade of the resort’s landscaped gardens.
The hotel will also feature a spa that will offer a selection of body treatment and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Additionally, the kid’s club will keep younger guests entertained while their parents relax.
A selection of dining options will also be available with the all-day-dining restaurant which serves international cuisine, a specialty restaurant and lobby lounge, making it an ideal destination for memorable evening meals and special occasions, while the hotel’s bar is a sophisticated space to unwind.
“We are delighted to debut our internationally renowned Radisson brand in Vietnam. The introduction of Radisson Phu Quoc, alongside the upper-upscale Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, will provide guests with two wonderful vacation options in this up-and-coming destination. Moving forward we will continue to seek opportunities to expand our presence across this beautiful country,” said Katerina Giannouka, President, Asia Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group.
“Phu Quoc is fast becoming an idyllic tourism destination for both international and domestic travelers. With its spectacular scenery, year-round tropical climate and relaxed visa regulations, this island is now attracting visitors from across the globe, “Katerina added.
Located in Kiên Giang province, just off Vietnam’s south coast, Phu Quoc is the country’s largest island and an increasingly popular tourism hotspot. The island welcomed more than three million visitors in 2017, including many international tourists.
Radisson Phu Quoc will be located within a mere five-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, which was recently expanded and now welcomes long-haul international flights from Europe.
“Radisson Phu Quoc is a world-class resort providing outstanding upscale amenities and superb service to guests from across the globe,” said Nguyen Thi Xuan Loan, Vice Chairman, Hoa Giang Phu Quoc Joint Stock Company. “Radisson Hotel Group is a leading hospitality company and I believe the partnership is set to bring this exceptional resort to reach its full potential. Together, we aim to create mutually beneficial successes and memorable experiences for every guest.”
