Event designed to promote cultural exchange between the City of Seoul and Delhi NCR
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is organizing the first ever Seoul-India Friendship Festival at Cyber Hub, Gurugram on the 8th & 9th of November 2017. The two-day festival intends to promote cultural ties and exchange between the City of Seoul and the Delhi NCR region. It will showcase various aspects of Seoul’s art, culture and entertainment to enthrall Indian audience.
While the Indian audience will have an opportunity to witness Korean cultural performances such as Nanta & Taekwondo, Korean delegates & guests will experience the best of Bollywood as an endeavor to encourage cultural exchange between the two countries.
The festival is a chance for local people, including Korean expatriates in India, to experience Korean heritage & enjoy enchanting art performances by artistes from both countries. Seoul, the Capital of South Korea, a metropolis teeming with modern skyscrapers and high-tech subways, offers a fascinating fragment of the past at its World Heritage–listed sites. It’s a 24-hour city, with the right mix of nightlife, modern infrastructure, connectivity & religion offering travelers diversity in entertainment, heritage, art & culture.” He added, “The Seoul-India Friendship Festival is aimed at establishing a deep cultural connect and understanding between the two countries. The festival will facilitate cultural exchange between Delhi and Seoul in an entertaining and interactive manner. Such formats are a great medium for the audiences of different countries to intermingle and strengthen their bond. We sincerely hope that this festival strikes the right chord.”
Seoul is emerging to be an attractive destination among Indians at present. Indian outbound travel to South Korea is also on the rise.
