Conrad Macao Bodhi Spa debuts Asia’s First Himalayan Salt Stone Massage treatment

Therapy featuring 84 naturally occurring minerals and elements delivers more health benefits than traditional hot stone massage.

For guests seeking deep relaxation and maximum vitality and health restoration, Conrad Macao, Cotai Central’s award-winning Bodhi Spa announced today that it has become Asia’s first spa to add the dynamic new Himalayan Salt Stone Massage treatment from Saltability to its spa menu.

Delivering more health benefits in comparison to a traditional hot stone massage, Bodhi Spa’s new Himalayan Salt Stone Massage offers a therapeutic treatment for guests through the use of Saltability’s organic salt stones, mined from the Himalayan. With 84 naturally occurring minerals and elements, Saltability’s pure Himalayan salt benefits the body by stimulating the circulation, detoxifying, improving sleep, reducing inflammation, calming the nervous system and reducing signs of aging.

“At Bodhi Spa we are always looking for services and products that benefit our savvy, spa-loving guests, and Saltability has come up an innovative new experience that in the hands of our talented therapists can provide true wellness benefits combined with the thermal comfort of the stones,’’ said Tracy Lord, Director of Bodhi Spa. “We are thrilled to be able to bring this innovative spa treatment to Asia and will continue to expand our offerings to our guests at Bodhi Spa.”

“Saltability is so excited to debut our line in Macau and to partner with Bodhi Spa at Conrad Macao. We are thrilled to have this impressive property be our first to use our hand carved all natural therapeutic Himalayan salt stones in their treatments, what an amazing opportunity,” said Ann Brown, Founder of Saltability.

Bodhi Spa’s Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
Himalayan Salt Stone Massage features smooth, heated crystal stones made from 100% pink Himalayan salts packed with 84 naturally occurring minerals. Beautifully presented in an eco-friendly warmer that emits negative ions to enhance the treatment room environment, the stones are warmed to the perfect temperature to neutralise the body and mind of toxicity. Special techniques are used in a deep pressure massage to gently release muscles that are tight, sore or compromised. The combination of massage, heat and minerals helps to achieve a greater sense of relaxation.

In addition to the hands-on benefits of the Himalayan salt stones, Saltability’s specially designed, eco-friendly, LED light salt stone warmer uses very little electricity and no chemicals, while emitting negative ions to reduce oxidative stress in the treatment room.
