Cox and Kings organised Beach Cleaning Drive in Juhu

In a bid to create awareness and to preserve the beauty of one of the most popular beaches of Mumbai, Cox and Kings, a leading travel company organised a special clean-up drive initiative along a three-kilometer coastal area of the Juhu beach on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
Approximately 150 employees of the company actively participated in the drive by volunteering for the cleaning activity. Cox & Kings employees carried out the clean-up drive in conjunction with its NGO partner, Juhu Citizens Welfare Group, employees of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as well as the local residents.
“The beach cleaning activity aims to help preserve the beauty of the Juhu Beach and at the same time keep the beach clean for the upcoming Visarjan on Anant Chaturdashi. We aim to educate the community at large about the need to keep our beaches clean.” said Karan Anand, Head, Relationships, Cox and Kings.
During the drive, team Cox & Kings also discussed eco-friendly ways to celebrate festivals with the local residents.
