Jordan Tourism Board conducts B2B Roadshow in New Delhi

Jordan Tourism Board recently conducted a Roadshow in New Delhi with 8 partners — Air Arabia, United Travel Agency, Travco Tours, Dakkak Tours, Emirates, Friends Tours, Jordan Tours, Karma House Travel, La Beduina Tours and Oman Air.

The aim of the Roadshow was to meet the city’s premium travel agents and tour operators to discuss hotels, transportation, flights and much more to Jordan — to enable the agents to plan the perfect MICE, wedding, honeymoon or holiday to Jordan!

The Roadshow were conducted keeping in mind to associate air, land, hotels, excursions and all other arranegements on one platform, and to make Jordan a strong contender in their itineraries for the coming season.

The event was attended by Majd Abuarqub, the India market in-charge from Jordan Tourism Board in Amman, and Ashit Taneja, Country Manager, Jordan Tourism Board’s Representative Office in India along with Think Strawberries team, which handles the Sales, Marketing and PR & Media for Jordan Tourism Board in India. Mr. Abuarqub spoke about his excitement to be in India; and meet the agents and have one on one interactions with them on such an active platform. He concluded that the Roadshows were very fruitful as it helped them develop and foster healthy relationships.

“With a 50% growth in visitors from India (figures till October 2017), we are confident that India will remain one of our top source market in the years to come. The Jordan Touism Board is committed in its endeavour to invest in India and from 2018 to 2020, and the growth trajectory for all activities and initiatives in the Indian market will continue to expand,” said Abuarqub.

Ashit Taneja commented, “These Roadshows offer a fantastic opportunity for the travel agent and tour operator community to connect with B2B segment and directly with JTB to help them drive more business and numbers towards the destination. We are very pleased with the outcome of the Roadshow and are planning to conduct the same in other cities as well shortly.”
