Tigerair strengthens India operations to Singapore in the New Year

  • Airlines introduces additional flights to Hyderabad and Tiruchirappalli

Tigerair, the leading Singapore-based budget carrier that connects to six Indian destinations, further strengthens its base in India with one seasonal additional frequency each to Hyderabad and Tiruchirappalli. From 25th April to 15th June 2016, the airline will increase flight frequency on its Hyderabad-Singapore route taking the total count to seven weekly flights, while the Tiruchirappalli-Singapore route will have a total of 14 weekly flights. This move is part of Tigerair’s growth strategy in the India market and its commitment to meet the increasing demand from travellers in India.

To celebrate this announcement, Tigerair has announced an all-inclusive return fare to Singapore from INR 11,599. Passengers travelling from Hyderabad can avail of this offer by booking tickets from 20th January 2016 to 31st January 2016, while the applicable travel period is from 9th March 2016 to 16th April 2016 for bookings made on www.tigerair.com. (Special fares for all India destinations in the table at the end).

The airline has been committed to provide affordable fares to Indian passengers to visit Singapore, a fun filled family destination, since its operations began in India. To ensure an overall memorable experience, Tigerair has partnered with Singapore Tourism Board with an aim to encourage travellers from India to witness the thrilling sights and sounds of Singapore. Indians travelling to Singapore will benefit from this collaborative effort thereby gaining an assured exciting holiday.

As of November 2015, more than 924,000 Indian travellers have visited Singapore, registering 7.4% growth. Tigerair operates a total of 44 weekly flights to Singapore from six Indian destinations – Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Lucknow, Kochi and Tiruchirappalli.
