Visa fees to Jordan waived
As an result of the meeting of Tourism Minister Nayef Hmeidli Al- Fayez with Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Raina, the Jordanian Government has approved several measures to uplift the tourism sector. These facilitations were proposed in order to make travelling to Jordan more convenient and worthwhile for people of all nationalities.
The below mentioned measures are applicable with immediate effect:
Waiving visa fees for tourists of all nationalities coming through Jordanian tour operators whether travelling individually or in groups.
The visa fee will be waived on a condition that the traveler spends a minimum of two consecutive nights in Jordan Reducing visa fees for tourists entering Jordan through land borders.
The visa fee will be reduced from 40 JOD to 10 JOD with a condition that the tourist spends a minimum of three consecutive nights. Waiving the departure tax and entry visa for all low cost and charter flights departing from King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.
Reduction in electricity tariffs for the hotel sector, which will make the hospitality sector more competitive amongst the region.

According to World Economic Forum, Jordan perfectly meets all international standards of security. It matches with security standards for VIP attendees, along with first class infrastructure and facilities, as well as, abundant and highly qualified human resources.
