Argentina who attended the ICCA World Congress
The Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, through the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR), attended the 56th World Congress of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) in the city of Prague, Czech Republic, between 12 and 15 November this.
INPROTUR participated in this conference as an active member of that international organization. This celebration, allowed the Argentina delegation to observe in detail the present meeting tourism and generate contacts with players around the world. In this edition, there was a record attendance of 1,300 delegates from from 81 countries.
This action was a great opportunity for the international positioning of Argentina in MICE tourism. It is recalled that after the last ranking by ICCA, Argentina entered the Top-20 countries organizing international tourism events and meetings, and Buenos Aires ended for the eighth consecutive time as a leader in America.
In addition, within the framework of the congress the ICCA General Assembly, where Pablo Sismanian, representing INPROTUR was held, he was elected to form of the Board of Directors on behalf of the Latin American region.
