Argentina presented its tourist offer in Portugal

INPROTUR participated in BTL, the main tourism fair in the Portuguese market.

The Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, through the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR) participated Stock Exchange Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL), which was held in the capital Portuguese 28 February to 4 March last.

BTL is the most important meeting of this market. In this edition, he had more than a thousand exhibitors, 400 vendors and about 5,000 business meetings over five days, of which the first three were dedicated to professionals and the remaining two to the general public.

INPROTUR had an institutional stand, in addition to advising professionals and future travelers, mate cocido tastings, snacks with fresh milk and emblematic Malbec wine offered. Again, experience 360 was very well received by the public.

Also with the authorities of the Embassy of Argentina in Portugal, meetings with major tour operators currently scheduled destination , and other actors both public and private sectors remained.

Note that the arrival of Portuguese to Argentina grew 1.9% in 2017, reaching almost 15 thousand tourists. 66% of them did so by air, 20% by land being the main crossing from Brazil and the remaining 14% by river from Uruguay.
