5 things you can’t live without at home during lockdown

When in offices, we are so occupied with our assignments that we seldom notice how our whole day passes on. We have opportunities to interact with our boss, colleagues, clients; we get breaks for lunches and refreshments. We have business meetings, evening parties and many more things to do.

But this is not a normal time. Besides being extra vigilant of our hygiene and health, we are also concerned about our efficiency when working from home. Howsoever, we may try to be productive at home, few of us can be as productive at home as we are in our offices. Then, our inability to venture outside also affects our mood, mental health.

You might have stored lots of soaps, hand wash, senitizers and other essential items of daily uses to avoid any unforseen shortages during this uncertain and turbulent times. But what would you do to maintain your productivity, remained motivated and fight the monotony of a 24X7 indoor life?

During such lock-down you may also develop some other cravings. To placate your food cravings, you can keep something basics like noodles, biscuits, dry fruits, chocklet bars, peanuts, namkeen, popcorn, etc in large quantity at home. Having enough stock of wines in refrigerator will also be very helpful for you, if you like. That are in addition to beverages like tea, coffee, soft drinks, etc.
But be careful of gaining extra wait, at a time when you are not going to gym or for a morning walk.
Staying and working at home during a lockdown can never be an ideal situation, but to counter a virulent virus like corona, you have to do so. However, by doing certain things, you can better your experience and performance while remaining indoor.
Fortunately we are living in a technology driven world, and even in this lockdown, our internet and mobile are very much functional. So we can leverage these to keep ourselves updated and entertained.
We have compiled a list of five things that you can’t live without at home during this lockdown:

1) Cellphone: Even during normal time, can you think of living without a cellphone? Not at all, unless you are holidaying and want to completely disconnect with the rest of the world to rewind and rejuvenate. And this is a lockdown time, a forced indoor life, so you must keep a cellphone to connect with your relatives, friends and people in business. Without cellphone, the indoor life will be some sort of hell!

2) High Speed internet: A must have thing in this modern time, but more so during a lockdown to remain connected with world and conduct your official works and communication smoothly, and entertain yourself. You can not rely solely on mobile data due to their slow speed.

3) Hotstar: In absence of outdoor recreational activities, Hotstar, with its wide range of channels, will be your best entertainment partner during this time of lockdown.

4) Trademill: During the lockout, you must have an in-house gym or atleast a treadmill at home to excercise and control your wait as you are not able to go to gym or for a morning walk and eating more frequently than ever.

5. First Aid Kit: you should always keep a well-stocked first-aid kit at home, but having such kit at home during this lockdown is extremely essential as you don’t have a smooth access to healthcare center these days. Such kit must contain bandages, an instant ice-pack, antiseptic wipes, cottons, scissors, and more.
