GRANULDISK launches ‘No-Pre washing concept’ in India

  • Clean pots and pans in a flash – No pre-washing needed
  • Aims to offer smart, sustainable & economical solutions for cleaning dirty vessels & containers in 5- star hotels & resorts
  • Washes utensils hygienically clean within few minutes using in average 70% less water, energy & chemicals

Soaking and scrubbing endless piles of pots and pans can finally be history for Indian HoReCa companies. Swedish innovation, GRANULDISK, has announced the launch of the ‘No Pre-washing concept’ of dirty utensils, pots & vessels in the Indian market.

The most common way to handle dirty pots and pans in India, as well as globally, is to manually soak, scrub and wash the kitchen items in sinks, which is a time and resource-consuming method that does not live up to the highest hygienic levels, nor delivers when it comes to sustainable and ergonomic aspects.

GRANULDISK is on a mission to eliminate the pre-washing and washing in sinks one drop at a time, and at the same time provide the highest performing and most sustainable ware washing solution. “GRANULDISK pot washing machines use PowerGranules water and a small amount of detergent to mechanically scrub pots and pans clean. The blasting power combined with high temperatures washes hygienically clean in a matter of minutes, using in average 70% less water, energy, and chemicals than any other pot washing method,” says Rajendra Kankal, Senior Sales Director, GRANULDISK India.

Mikael Samuelsson, CEO at GRANULDISK, says, “The new Indian entity with a sales and service network in place is now ready to serve customers in segments like 5-star hotels, catering companies, industrial and staff canteens. India is an important market with high potential to fulfil gaps in customer needs why we choose to open our 5th Subsidiary in India.”

GRANULDISK is a Swedish Granule pot washing expert for commercial kitchens and has been on the European market for more than 30 years. Besides Europe, the company also operates in East Asia and in the Middle East. Typical customers are commercial kitchens cooking and serving meals for 500 to 5000 people daily.
