Our goal is to strengthen ties between India and Uzbekistan while expanding our network to include Europe, the US, Japan, and Southeast Asia.”

Centrum Air’s entry into the Indian market is designed to serve a wide demographic, including:

  • Corporate and MICE groups
  • Students
  • Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR)

The airline also offers competitive fares and flexible travel packages, aiming to make travel between India and Central Asia more convenient and affordable.

Through our partnership with Centrum Air, we aim to make Uzbekistan and its neighbouring countries more accessible to Indian travellers while opening new opportunities for trade, tourism, education, and cultural exchange.”

At the event, Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, commended the initiative and noted the positive impact of growing air connectivity.

“We are witnessing a remarkable surge in tourism between India and Uzbekistan. In just one year, tourist arrivals have increased from 20,000 to over 82,000. With Centrum Air’s new direct flights, we are confident of even stronger growth. This is a major step forward in our bilateral relations,” said the Ambassador.

Expansion Plans and Travel Services

Centrum Air also revealed plans to expand services to Hyderabad and Bengaluru, tapping into the growing interest in Central Asia from South India. The airline’s schedule is aligned with Centrum Holidays, which is now offering customised seven-night travel packages to Uzbekistan.

Daniil Chasovnikov of Centrum Holidays shared: “With these new flight timings, we can create seamless and attractive travel packages. We are also seeing rising interest in Indian weddings in Uzbekistan—especially in cities like Samarkand and Bukhara, which offer stunning venues such as the Silk Road complex for grand celebrations.”
