6th Edition of World Tourism Day Celebration Concludes with Grand Success in New Delhi, Graced by Union Minister Dr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary

The Indian travel fraternity witnessed a monumental gathering this weekend as the 6th Edition of the World Tourism Day Celebration successfully concluded on September 26, 2026, at the UTSAV hall (45,000 sq ft) at Udman Hotels & Resorts, New Delhi. Organized collaboratively by the Purvanchal Paryatan Association (PPA) and the Great Indian Travel Fest (GITF), the premier B2B event hosted a record-breaking convergence of over 800 travel delegates and industry leaders.

Built on the core philosophy of being an event “by the travel fraternity, for the travel fraternity,” this year’s celebration reached unprecedented heights in bridging diverse travel stakeholders, fostering economic partnerships, and recognizing industry excellence.

The mega convergence was graced by an esteemed national and international dignitaries. Dr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, attended the event to extend his support and highlight the vital role of tourism in driving economic empowerment and cultural integration across the nation.

The grand inaugural ceremony was jointly led by industry stalwart Mr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman of the STIC Travel Group, and His Excellency Mr. Aleksander Sitnikov, the Economics Counsellor of The Russian Federation, marking a historic opening for the day’s proceedings.
