LGBT tourism: started the 10th edition of Gnetwork 360
INPROTUR attended the opening made in the Blue Room of the Senate of the Nation.
The Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, through the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR), attended the opening of the 10th edition of the International LGBT Business Conference and Tourism (Gnetwork 360) , held today in the Blue Room of the Senate of Argentina.
The opening ceremony was addressed by the Secretary of Tourism of the Nation, Alejandro Lastra, Director General Authority for Tourism of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Gonzalo Robredo, the president of the Argentina Chamber of Tourism (CAT), Oscar Ghezzi, and the head of the Gay Chamber of Commerce Lésbica Argentina (CCGLAR), Pablo De Luca.
Indeed, Lastra was responsible for presenting a video with the word of the Minister of Tourism of Argentina, Gustavo Santos, which stressed the importance of the tourism sector oriented Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT): “Today, definition of Argentine tourism is World Friendly and the brand is Love LGBT period. This is what is to build together, everyone, a society, a space of existence, of life, of realization that includes us all. That’s what we are working with our differences, but together. ”
Organized by the Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Argentina (CCGLAR), Gnetwork 360 is the most important business appointment and LGBT tourism in Latin America, which since 2008 takes place in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Prestigious personalities of the industry, from around the world gather after generating more and better development opportunities for the segment. For the current edition, which disertarán 48 speakers from 17 countries, more than 1,500 attendees are expected.
INPROTUR’s entourage, as well as attend the presentation of the conference, actively participate in the development of it, which will be held from 14 to 18 August 2017 at the Alvear Palace Hotel, Buenos Aires neighborhood of Recoleta.
