Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao properties take three of Macao’s seven places in prestigious ‘China’s Top 100 Hotels’ Awards

The Venetian Macao, Conrad Macao, Cotai Central and Four Seasons Hotel Macao have been named among China’s Top 100 Hotels at the prestigious China Travel Awards 2016, held by the Chinese edition of leading travel magazine, Travel + Leisure.

In this year’s edition, an impressive seven of the 100 hotels across Greater China named in the authoritative list are based in Macao, three of which are represented by the Sands Resorts Cotai Strip properties. The three resort hotels also made the Top 100 last year.

Inspired by Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, the annual China Travel Awards recognise leading operators in the travel industry, including hotels, airlines, cruises and destinations. The magazine undertakes an exhaustive evaluation process to come to a transparent decision on the tourism industry’s best performers, incorporating an industry judging panel alongside media and reader votes. Reader and “mystery judge” experiences are also factored in.

“It’s a great honour for several of our resort properties to make it onto China’s Top 100 Hotels as part of China Travel Awards 2016,” said Mark McWhinnie, Senior Vice President of Resort Operations and Development for Sands China Ltd. “China is our largest market and we are therefore delighted to be recognised by both the public and the media there.

“While it is an acknowledgement of the quality of services and facilities on offer here at Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao, it is also an accolade for our professional and committed team members, who are the key to providing the best possible service at our integrated resorts.”

As the leading integrated resort in Macao, Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao provides an unsurpassed range of facilities under one roof to suit all budgets and visitors of all ages. With the opening of The Parisian Macao, it offers approximately 13,000 rooms and suites across seven hotels, over 850 duty free shops, a wide array of international and local cuisine, along with world-class entertainment and 150,000 square metres of meeting and exhibition space.

Comprising The Venetian Macao; The Plaza Macao, including the Four Seasons Hotel Macao; Sands Cotai Central, the world’s largest Conrad, Sheraton, and St. Regis hotels as well as a Holiday Inn; and the newly-opened The Parisian Macao, Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao features an expansive offering of affordable luxury available nowhere else in Macao.
