SATTE celebrates industry support in Mumbai ahead of upcoming edition

SATTE, South Asia’s largest and most influential travel and tourism exhibition, hosted an exclusive networking evening at Kyma, on January 21. The event, held as a gesture of gratitude to the Mumbai travel trade fraternity, brought together industry leaders and friends for an evening of meaningful conversations, collaboration, and camaraderie in a relaxed yet vibrant setting.

Designed to encourage connections beyond formal meetings, the gathering offered travel professionals to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and explore new partnerships across the industry.

Guests from the trade and media got an exclusive preview of how SATTE 2026 is shaping up, including new initiatives, strategies to overcome past challenges, and opportunities to interact with Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets India; Pallavi Mehra, Sr. Group Director & Publisher, Travel Trends Today (T3), Informa Markets India; and team.

Welcoming the guests, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, shared his optimism for the upcoming edition, stating, “We are expecting a phenomenal edition of SATTE this time. This is the 33rd edition that we are celebrating and 2nd edition in Dwarka. The response from the industry has been very positive and tremendous, with full support.” He also reassured stakeholders on operational preparedness, adding, “There were challenges that we faced last year, but we can assure you that nothing of those are going to take place this time.” Highlighting the smooth execution of other events at the same venue, Mudras further noted, “We had another show in the same venue, and that went absolutely seamless, and we are expecting the same with SATTE 2026. We are all set to welcome you all.”

Pallavi Mehra, Sr. Group Director and Publisher of Travel Trends Today, Informa Markets in India, also addressed the audience, outlining what the industry can expect from the show. She underlined that SATTE 2026 is being shaped as “a seamless and the biggest edition yet,” with expanded opportunities for the travel trade fraternity. Speaking about the exclusive Buyer programme, introduced to enhance delegate experience, Mehra added, “We have done our homework to ease your experience with regards to stay in Delhi, as the hotel rates shoot up during the show, and that’s where we have the buyer programme to help our industry. We have an international buyer programme as well.”

The evening concluded on an upbeat note, with industry leaders expressing enthusiasm for SATTE and renewed confidence in stronger collaboration within India and across global markets.

SATTE is scheduled to take place from February 25-27 at Yashobhoomi, India’s International Convention & Expo Centre, New Delhi.
