The Oberoi Group commences selection process for its ‘Post Graduate Management Programmes’

The Oberoi Group has commenced the selection process for its two year ‘Post Graduate Management Programme’ at The Oberoi Centre of Learning Development (OCLD). The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development is in its 51st year and the Guest Service programmeis not just a stepping stone to a job in hospitality but a firm foundation of a distinguished career with The Oberoi Group.
The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development launched a new 18-month Sales Management programme last year for graduates looking for a long term career in hospitality sales.
In 1966, when he established the The Oberoi School of Hotel Management (OSHM) or The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) as it is now known, Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi, Founder Chairman, The Oberoi Group, recognised that the key to his philosophy of hotel keeping would be carefully selected and groomed managers who shared his obsession for guest satisfaction. In order to achieve this objective, he established The Oberoi School of Hotel Management as a corporate institution of learning, where young people could be groomed through a combination of academic instruction and comprehensive on-thejob experience.
Today, the Management Programme at The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development is considered amongst the best in Asia and is a benchmark for excellence within the hospitality industry. The programme is designed to provide an opportunity to associates to grow personally and professionally. Associates are groomed through a combination of academic study and comprehensive on-the-job training. The objective of the programme is to develop the next generation of managers who will continue to practice and nurture the organisation’s people focused approach to achieve the legendary Oberoi service excellence.
