Vistara starts flying to Jammu & Kashmir in North India

Vistara has launched two new flights to the north Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. The new services link Delhi with Srinagar and Jammu.

Services to the state’s summer capital Srinagar and winter capital Jammu commenced on 7 and 9 April respectively and will both operate daily.

Flight UK797 departs Delhi at 1445 and arrives in Srinagar at 1615. The return flight, UK977, then leaves Srinagar at 1655 and arrives back in Delhi at 1830. The airline will also operate two extra weekend flights, UK717 and UK713, taking the total frequency to nine weekly flight.

On the Jammu route, flight UK799 will depart Delhi at 0645 and arrive in Jammu at 0945, following a stop in Srinagar. The return flight, UK790, then leaves at 1050 and arrives back in Delhi at 1400, again with a stop in Srinagar. Both these schedules will run until 29 October 2016 and Vistara will deploy its three-class Airbus A320 aircraft on all services.

With the addition of two new cities to its network, Vistara now flies to 16 Indian destinations, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Goa, Guwahati, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi, Kochi, Chandigarh, Jammu and Srinagar.
