The train named ‘7 Jyotirlinga Yatra’, being launched by the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) from June 18, will offer you a 12 days and 11 nights package at an economical rate of Rs 872 per person, per day.
Want to explore India with your family this vacation? Well if you book your tickets now, you may get a late ticket or be wait-listed for the Bharat Darshan tourist train, which will depart from Chandigarh railway station next week.
The train named ‘7 Jyotirlinga Yatra’, being launched by the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) from June 18, will offer you a 12 days and 11 nights package at an economical rate of Rs 872 per person, per day.
The package will cover seven destinations including Ujjain (Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar), Dwarka (Nageshwar), Veraval (Somnath), Aurangabad (Grishneshwar), Shirdi and Nasik (Bhimashankar and Triyambakeshwar).
The tour package, with a total cost of Rs 10,465 for each person, will include journey by second sleeper class train, accommodation in non-AC dormitories/ hall, vegetarian food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), tour escort and security on train and tourist buses for visiting sightseeing spots.

UT RESIDENTS BOOK MAJORITY OF SEATS
Sharing the response to the tour packages, spokesperson of IRCTC regional office, Shubham Arya, said, “In Jyotirlinga tourist train, we have 800 seats and till date, 733 of them have been reserved. A majority of the seats have been booked by Chandigarh residents.”
“A week is still left for the residents to get their tickets booked. We are expecting a good response as more and more families have got their tickets booked.”
The officials of IRCTC informed that in all the Bharat Darshan trains, there are a total of 11 coaches having a capacity of around 800 seats. The officials also informed that IRCTC will also be renewing its customised tour package to Shimla, which was initiated last year and had received a good response.
