Gujarat Tourism declares The Fern Gir Forest Resort as “The Best Resort of Gujarat”

The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir, Gujarat was the proud recipient of “The Best Resort of Gujarat” at a glittering ceremony organized by Gujarat Tourism held at Ahmedabad on October 3, 2017. The resort was also declared “The Best Resort in other cities of Gujarat” at the same event.

Tourism Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of Gujarat’s tourism industry, including individuals, businesses (industry operators) and partnerships. The event carries a lot of importance as the same is promoted by Gujarat Tourism. The theme for the night was Heritage City Ahmedabad and all the travel and trade fraternity were present there in large numbers.

Tourism Awards is a celebration of success, leadership and innovation in the tourism industry of Gujarat, and to reward those people, places, organizations and ideas that have gone above and beyond to offer travelers superior tourism experiences in Gujarat. Expressing his happiness over winning two awards in the same event the General Manager of the resort, Debasish Muduli said, “It is a proud moment for each and every member of the team. All of us have worked together very hard to create a memorable experience for our guests. This award is recognition of the efforts put in by the team. ”

The resort has earlier won “The Best Jungle Resort of Gujarat” at Golden Star Awards 2013 and “The Best Resort of Gujarat” by Gujarat Tourism Awards 2016.
