CINNAMON HOTELS & RESORTS CONCLUDES ‘INDIA SHOWCASE APRIL-2025’ WITH EXCEPTIONAL MOMENTUM AND MARKET IMPACT

Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts recently concluded its successful event India Showcase 2025, a strategic multi-city roadshow held in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and New Delhi. The initiative brought together over 300 key stakeholders from India’s travel trade, MICE, corporate, and wedding sectors, reinforcing Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts’ brand presence and unlocking a strong pipeline of high value leads with significant future revenue potential.

It provided a valuable platform for face-to-face engagement between Indian travel professionals and Brand’s leadership, supported by key partners such as SriLankan Airlines, Walkers Tours, Jetwing Travels, Aitken Spence, and Esna Holidays. Guests were introduced to a wide range of experiences offered by Cinnamon Hotels & resorts portfolio including Cinnamon Life City of Dreams Sri Lanka. Cinnamon Life City of Dreams received a strong interest, especially for its event and MICE capabilities, with its upcoming casino standing out as a unique attraction.

The showcase event resulted in multiple high-potential business leads, with several large-scale group bookings already in motion and more expected to materialize in the coming months. Beyond the immediate outcomes, the showcase has laid a strong foundation for long-term growth across MICE, weddings, and premium leisure travel segments, reaffirming Cinnamon’s reputation as a trusted and visionary hospitality partner in the region.

7T7A2519 (1)Radhey Tawar, Chief Commercial Officer of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, shared his thoughts on the event and its impact: “India Showcase April-2025 was a pivotal step in deepening our presence in one of our most strategic markets. India remains the No. 1 source market for Sri Lanka, and the overwhelming response across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and New Delhi reflects the growing confidence Indian travellers and planners place in Cinnamon and the destination itself. With 2025 poised to be a record-breaking year for Sri Lanka tourism, this initiative not only drove real business outcomes but also positioned Cinnamon Life City Of Dreams as a future-forward hospitality icon in South Asia. We’re grateful to our India GSO team, partners, and the entire Cinnamon family for making this a standout success.”

Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts now turns its focus to targeted follow-ups, familiarization trips for key clients, and collaborative campaigns with airlines and destination management partners to further amplify conversions. With the momentum from the India Showcase 2025, the brand is well positioned to continue its growth in the Indian market and welcome even more travellers to its collection of properties.
