AccorHotels renews deal for Hyberabad Convention Centre

AccorHotels has renewed its management agreement for the Hyderabad Convention Centre and adjoining Novotel.

The new agreement will see the European hotel group continue to manage the facility on behalf of Cyberabad Convention Centre following a previous 10-year tenure. The two parties will also now embark on refurbishment of the 287-room Novotel and convention centre.

“Hyderabad is characterised by state-of-the-art infrastructure growth, increased business activity led by strong IT/ITES presence and emerging sector such as education and pharmaceuticals,” said Amit Jain, director of Cyberabad Convention Centre. “We take pride in being a part of this growth and in giving the city a world-class convention facility with the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre.

“We see great value in our association with AccorHotels and look forward to continued growth particularly in the MICE area,” he added.

Jean-Michel Casse, AccorHotels’ senior vice president of operations for India, said he was pleased to continue operating “a world-class joint facility in Hyderabad, and one that arguably is South Asia’s finest.”  Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre is located in the city’s IT and business district, close to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
