Ambience Mall to light up in Tri-Colour to Celebrate Independence Day

Only mall in Delhi-NCR to be illuminated in national colours for the occasion

The Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj will once again don the tri-color on it’s façade this Independence day. This is the 3rd successive year the mall will be illuminated in the national colours. The Ambience mall in Delhi by displaying façade lighting in tri-colors on Independence Day joins an exclusive global club of large-sized buildings/structures such as The Eiffel towers in Paris, BurjKhalifa in Dubai and the Empire state building in the United States to sport special lighting on special occasions. The exotic display of colours will help strengthen the spirit of nationalism and enhance customers experience on the special day.

As part of the celebrations, the Ambience Mall at Vasant Kunj will also host a ‘Freedom Fest’ to celebrate the Freedom to LaughFreedom to Dance, and Freedom to Sing. The festival will feature performances from leading talents in their respective fields along with performances by various artists to showcase the diversity of colours, talents, and rich cultural heritage of the nation. The festival will also feature other engaging activities like Quizzes and Kid’s centric fun games and activities.

We Care’, a new and ongoing initiative of the Ambience Group will offer complimentary parking at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj and Gurgaon to serving and retired defence personnel’s as a token of appreciation and gratitude for their service to the nation. This facility will also be available for veterans as well. A defence personnel identification card is all that is required to avail this service on any weekday. The Ambience Group takes it as a great opportunity and honour to extend this service to those who have served the nation under trying times and adverse conditions. Another highlight of the celebrations is the felicitation of Martyr’s kids who will be represented by Zila Sainik officers at the Gurgaon Mall. Ambience has taken the initiative to fund the education of these children as a mark of respect for the selfless service rendered by the army personnel’s.

With the theme MY “DREAM” INDIA! The JD Institute of Fashion Technology will install an interactive art installation of India’s map and conduct other engaging activities for the customers like Flash mob, Raffle draw, and Selfie corner etc at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon.

Speaking about the initiatives Arjun Gehlot, Director, Ambience Mall – Gurgaon & Vasant Kunj said, “As we celebrate Independence Day, it is important for us to reflect on the spirit of nationalism and honour all those who have served selflessly for this great nation. The display of national colours and other activities at both of our Malls will not only mesmerize our visitors but also instill a sense of pride in being citizens of this wonderful country. The thought behind this celebration is to commemorate our independence and celebrate the spirit of nationalism in true spirits.”

Other activities lined up as part of the celebrations at Ambience Malls includes an evening performance by The Army Band at the Gurgaon Mall and engaging installation on Women breaking stereotypes under the theme “Women Empowerment post-Independence” at both the malls.

Ambience always focuses on providing constantly new experiences to its customers. The Landmark Signage has been introduced at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. Along with presenting top-notch 4K content, the Signage is also capable of creating immersive Augmented Reality experiences. The Landmark Signage is the first of its kind in India made using 70 custom-made curved OLED panels. This innovative Signage display is conceptualized and executed by HS Ad India in collaboration with LG Electronics, LG CNS and Ambience Mall.

Also, Ambience is providing access to Luxury brands: Michael Kors, Cath Kidston, Nike Kick Lounge and have introduced more premium brands like Anita Dongre, Meena Bazaar to the list. Already the excitement for upcoming brands are making rounds with Tom Tailor and Luxe Bridge in Gurgaon and Miniso in Vasant Kunj.
