Argentina is promoted in Switzerland with Edelweiss
Progress in air connectivity is one of the cornerstones to achieve growth of foreign tourist arrivals to Argentina. For this reason, and within the framework of the Revolution of aircraft, the airline Edelweiss begin flying from Zurich to Buenos Aires directly from November this year.
In order to promote the flight and the destiny of our country, the Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, through the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR), performed by one Press Trip Edelweiss 7 journalists from Switzerland.
The trip was conducted between February 24 and March 2 inst. During the first two days, Europeans visited the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. In the capital Buenos Aires toured the most traditional neighborhoods as San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta and the most modern places such as Puerto Madero. The Dazzler Recoleta, Dazzler Polo, Dazzler Palermo, belonging to the Wyndham group hotel served as accommodation while they tasted lunches and dinners at restaurants LOCKED, La Ventana – here also enjoyed a show of Tango – The Malbequería and Puerto Cristal .
Monday 26 to Wednesday 28 February, the group moved to Mendoza to meet the prestigious wine tourism offer of the Cuyo province. In addition to a city tour by the same name and taste the wine emblematic Malbec provincial capital, visits to Cavas Wine Lodge, Viñas Don Martin, El Trapiche and dinner at the Italian restaurant Francesco were developed.
Mendoza also in soil lived the experience of spending an afternoon between hot springs in the Cacheuta Termas hotel. The lodge was held at hotel Park Hyatt, Entre Cielos, Club Tapiz and splendor.
The end of the trip focused on the city of Salta, based on Alejandro I hotel.
