The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) will celebrate a major milestone as it hosts its 40th Anniversary Convention in Rhodes, Greece, from October 4–7, 2026.

The convention, themed “Connecting Legacies – Crafting Futures”, will commemorate TAFI’s four decades of contribution to the Indian travel industry while focusing on emerging opportunities, innovation and the future direction of the sector. The event aims to blend the federation’s rich legacy with a forward-looking vision for growth and collaboration.

Jay Kantawala, Chairman of the TAFI Western India Chapter, has been named Convention Chairman for the milestone gathering.

The convention’s organising committee includes senior representatives from various TAFI chapters, reflecting the association’s commitment to inclusive leadership and collective progress across the travel trade community.

Over four days, the convention will bring together TAFI members, travel professionals and industry stakeholders for a series of business sessions, networking engagements, knowledge forums and strategic discussions focused on the evolving landscape of travel and tourism.

The itinerary will also feature immersive cultural experiences and sightseeing activities showcasing the heritage, history and scenic appeal of Rhodes. TAFI said the destination symbolises the deep-rooted cultural connection between India and Greece, two ancient civilisations with enduring historical and philosophical ties.

According to the association, the convention is intended to create a platform that combines business, collaboration and experiential travel, while further strengthening relationships within the travel industry fraternity.
