Kung Fu Panda Adventure Ice World with the DreamWorks All-Stars returns to The Venetian Macao
Asia’s largest annual indoor frozen wonderland, Kung Fu Panda Adventure Ice World with the DreamWorks All-Stars, is returning to The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo between March 16 – July 9, 2017!
Supported by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the unique event sees thousands of blocks of multi-coloured ice skillfully carved into amazingly detailed sculptures by a team of expert craftsmen from Harbin in northern China. This year’s show includes a host of colourful new DreamWorks Animation characters from “Kung Fu Panda”, “Madagascar”, “Shrek”, “How To Train Your Dragon”, “The Croods” and “Trolls”, vibrantly brought to life with dazzling lights and stunning sound effects. In addition to the seven ice sculpture zones, additions including themed games, themed desserts, and character meet-and-greets make this year’s Ice World an unmissable experience.

Around 40 highly skilled craftsmen from Harbin, including eight ice carvers, 28 ice builders, lighting designers and power technicians will work together to create the stunning sculptures on display at Kung Fu Panda Adventure Ice World with the DreamWorks All-Stars.An amazing 2.5 million pounds of ice will be used to create the fantastic works of frozen art.
The Kung Fu Panda Adventure Ice World with the DreamWorks All-Stars ice sculpture team is led by Harbin craftsmen Wei Xiangji, who has visited countries including the US, Germany, Cambodia, South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand for professional exhibitions and events. Co-leading isXu Yuping, also from Harbin, who has also travelled extensively internationally for ice sculpture events, winning prizes around the world including at the Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo.
Harbin is known as a worldwide centre of ice carving and sculpture, with the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival the biggest event of its kind in the world, attracting around 10 to 15 million visitors annually. With ice sculptures up to 46 metres high, as many as 10,000 workers cut and haul the blocks of ice.

Note: As the exhibition is kept at special low temperatures,visitors are strongly recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, hats, gloves and long pants.
