Ministry of Tourism is organising ‘Swatchhata hi Sewa’ drive on September 17, 2017 at India Gate Lawns from 3.00 p.m. Alphons Kannanthanam, Minister of State (I/C) for Tourism will participate in “Swachhata Hi Sewa” drive of Ministry of Tourism as a part of the observance of “Swachhata Hi Sewa” campaign during 15th – 2nd October, 2017.
The tourism ministry is to observe the second Swachhta Pakhwada of the year 2017-18 from 16th – 30th September, 2017, as per the consolidated guidelines issued by the Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation. The Pakhwada was inaugurated with the administering of a Swachhta Pledge by the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism at Transport Bhawan and by the Additional Director General, (Tourism) at C-1, Hutments, today. All the Officers and staff members of Ministry of Tourism took the Swachhta Pledge.
