South Asia’s leading Travel Trade Show SATTE 2017 witnessed the launch of “India Assist-first of its kind mobile app” in the country to assist foreign travellers who may need assistance at the time of any distress. After the grand success of carrentalassist.com, the Company has set up another mark in the Indian travel tourism industry with this unique platform ‘India Assist’. Leading the way in the country, India Assist is the “First-Call Assistance” for any foreigner in distress, channelized through a mobile application. India Assist just connects any traveller in distress to the most appropriate medium with the best solution to their issues.
Commenting on the USP’s of their new venture Harish Khatri, Founder, India Assist Travel said, “Most foreign travellers take travel insurance before travelling, but that only covers a set of things like cancellation of trips, medical emergencies abroad, emergency evacuations, baggage loss (only bigger pieces) and that’s most of it. But what about major situations like when one gets into an altercation while travelling, or if one gets lost in the city and doesn’t find a soul for help. And that’s where India Assist comes in. In further discussion, Khatri said, the app is available free of cost on android and it will soon be launched on iOS platform. The minimum requirement to use the app is the 3G connection. Soon, the app will have practical itineraries suiting their time limit and choice such as shopping, sightseeing etc.
