Think Strawberries partners with Yas Marina Circuit – Abu Dhabi
Think Strawberries, India’s market leading travel representation company has been appointed as the PR & Media Representative of the Yas Marina Circuit which is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Formula 1® Grand Prix is one of the most glamorous sporting events in the world and is the focal point of this world-class circuit ring! The annual Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the main featured event hosted at this state of the art racing track. The opening of the circuit was inaugurated a week before the much-awaited Abu Dhabi Grand Prix held in 2009.
This year the 2017 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be held from 23-26 November. The 2017 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX Yasalam After-Race concerts line-up includes CALVIN HARRIS on Thursday 23 November; KENDRICK LAMAR on Friday 24 November; MUMFORD & SONS on Saturday 25 November and P!NK on Sunday 26 November.
The Yas Marina Circuit is established on a man-made island of Yas, which apart from the grand circuit has a water world, shopping arcades, a Ferrari World and has scores of five-star hotels like the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi and world-class chain of Yas Plaza Hotels. The Marina Circuit is one of the only two circuit courses in the entire Middle-East, the other being in Bahrain.
Abu Dhabi is the capital and the second most populous city of the United Arab Emirates. The man-made island of Yas in Abu Dhabi was initiated in 2006 with the aim of turning the island into a multi-purpose leisure, shopping, and entertainment center at an estimated cost of over 40 billion dollars.
Apart from the F1 Grand Prix, the Marina Circuit offers a wide range of activities to people to participate; both as leisure participation or competitive races. People can enjoy activities like ‘DriveYAS’ which includes an array of sports cars one can choose to pick and drive on the Formula 1 Circuit or ‘Arrive and Drive’ where one can have the pleasure of even Go-Karting or simply the joy of cycling and jogging on the track if someone wishes. Competitive events include Drag Races, Car Track Day and Bike Track Day.
