Travelyaari offers UPI based digital payment and credit-based transaction
Underlining its commitment to enabling seamless travel booking experiences, Travelyaari, India’s leading bus booking platform, will now offer customers the option to choose from various payment options, and make the most out of their travel booking transactions. The new payment options on the platform include UPI (Unified Payments Interface) through HDFC Bank, UPI-based digital wallet PhonePe, ePayLater, and Bank Reward Points from Max Get More.
Speaking on the announcement, Aurvind Lama, CEO and Founder, Travelyaari commented, “Through these new payment options on the platform, our aim is to reward loyal frequent customers along with delivering superior value to them with our promise of ‘everyday best prices’. Moreover, we have taken utmost care to integrate these payment methods with the platform and make them as transparent, secure, and hassle-free as possible for customers.”
Max Get More, through its partnership with 20+ leading banks in India, helps customers access and spend the loyalty reward points they accumulate on their transactions through credit/debit cards or net banking. With Travelyaari’s partnership with Max get More, customers will now be able use these points to make partial or full payments for their bus bookings on the platform, and earn additional points from the loyalty programs when they pay through their banks. When customers want to redeem their accumulated points, they can simply choose the payment option of bank reward points once they are on the checkout page, choose their bank, authenticate themselves with the card number and OTP sent to their registered mobile number. Finally, they can select the number of points they want to redeem from their account and pay the balance amount, if any, through other modes of payment.
PhonePe is a digital wallet powered by UPI that does not need to be topped up, but instead requires users to simply link their bank account to the PhonePe app and make hassle-free, secure payments directly from their bank account 24/7. Customers can also receive instant refunds and cashbacks when they pay for their bus bookings through PhonePe.
With ePayLater, customers can avail the option to book their bus tickets and pay later within a period of 14 days. ePaylater will assess the customer’s creditworthiness in just a few simple steps, following which she/he can book their bus tickets on the platform without having to make any immediate payments or cash transfers. What’s more, users will be able to make multiple bookings on Travelyaari at a single instance, and receive the invoices by ePayLater, enabling customers with cash constraints, such as students and young professionals, to enjoy a hassle-free booking experience. The new payment options are live on Travelyaari’s mobile and desktop websites, and mobile application in multiple phases.
