Visa Information for the Republic of Armenia (Armenia)
Visa Note & Fees
Transit Visa
- Visa is required only if a traveler is transiting Armenia to proceed to a further destination.
- The Applicant must have an original passport, valid for at least six months beyond the date of application.
- One visa form (photocopy is permitted).
- One latest passport-size photograph attached to the application form.
- Confirmed air / flight ticket.
- A covering letter from the applicant requesting for a grant of Transit visa.
- Stamped visa of onward country.
- Bank statements of last four months.
- Approval from Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Armenia.
- It should be noted that Transit Visa is granted for a maximum of three to four days.
- The visa processing time is 7 to 10 working days.
Tourist Visa
- The Applicant must possess an original passport valid for at least six months ahead of the date of application.
- One visa form (photocopy is allowed).
- One recent passport-size photograph attached to the application form.
- A covering letter from the Applicant requesting for a grant of Tourist visa.
- Application should be attached with invitation from friends in Armenia or through a Hotel.
- Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
- Bank statement for the last six months.
- Visa is issued for a maximum of 21 days, with single entry.
- The visa processing time is 7 to 10 working days.
- Visa fee for over 21 days is Rs. 2400 and less than 21 days is Rs. 480.
Business Visa
- The Applicant should have an original passport, valid for at least six months beyond the date of application.
- One visa form (photocopy permitted).
- One recent passport-size photograph pasted to the application form.
- A covering letter from the Indian Company concerned requesting for grant of visa.
- An invitation from the concerned Armenian Company verified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Armenia.
- Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
- Bank statement for the last six months.
- Income tax returns of the last three years.
- Visa is valid from 15 days to 1 year depending upon the Letter of Invitation, received from Armenia with Single or Multiple Entries.
- Processing time for Armenia visa is 7 to 10 working days.
- Visa fee for Multiple Entry (more than 60 to less than 120 days) – Rs 6420, Multiple Entry (less than 60 days) – Rs.3240, Single Entry (more than 31 days)- Rs. 2400 and Single Entry (less than 21 days) – Rs. 480.
