VFS Global launches Visa Application Centres for the Czech in India
VFS Global has launched Visa Application Centres for the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi and Mumbai. For the first time the Embassy of the Czech Republic in India has outsourced its visa application process.
Catering to the growing interest in the Czech Republic as a travel destination, VFS Global has launched Visa Application Centres for the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi and Mumbai. This is the first time the Embassy of the Czech Republic in India has outsourced its visa application process.
The centre in New Delhi is located at No 15- 26, Block E, 2nd Floor, International Trade Tower, Nehru Place, New Delhi – 110019. In Mumbai, the centre is located at Trade Centre, 3rd floor, ‘G’ Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400051. Services at both locations commenced on 09 September 2015.
Interest in the Czech Republic as a travel destination has been growing at a steady pace. In 2014, the Embassy of the Czech Republic received 9000 visa applications, and this year, received 7500 applications in the first six months alone, the Czech Republic Ambassador Designate H.E. Milan Kovorka said at a recent media briefing in Mumbai.
Speaking during the inauguration of the new centre in New Delhi, H.E. Milan Hovorka, Ambassador Designate for the Czech Republic in India, said, “The new visa facilities demonstrate continuous commitment of the Czech authorities to improve quality of service for visa applicants. Their opening provides the right answer to the substantially increased interest in visiting the Czech Republic. I invite all to benefit fully from this new service.”
