Olare Motorogi Conservancy – The Olare Motorogi Conservancy borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals including all the big cats for which the Mara is famous. It forms part of a vital buffer zone between the Mara Reserve and the wildlife dispersal areas surrounding it. Wildlife presence, population and diversity have greatly increased since the establishment of the conservancy. The conservancy today offers pleasant and exclusive viewing of game in a pristine environment, with a rich and diverse wildlife population rarely found anywhere else on the African savannah. The area encompassed within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy is a strategic buffer zone for the Maasai Mara National Reserve and the wildlife migration corridors. Balloon Safaris is a fantastic way to experience the Maasai Mara. The ride usually starts at sunrise and lasts one hour.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy – a 90,000-acre private wildlife conservancy – is situated on the equator, in Kenya’s Laikipia District, between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya. Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is host to all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), has a higher wildlife-toarea ratio than any Kenyan National Park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. Porini Rhino Camp is located within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, on a verdant plateau between the foothills of the Aberdares Range and the stately snow-capped peak of Mount Kenya. Porini Luxury bush camp consisted of six guest tents capable of accommodating up to 12 guests. The Camp has arge Safari tents with a double and single bed, solar electric lights, en suite bathrooms with flush lavatory and safari shower. Porini Rhino Camp is hidden in a secluded valley and set amongst shady acacia trees on the banks of a seasonal river.
