Hellenic Tours of Greece visits India

Representatives of Hellenic Tours recently visited India in order to strengthen its relationship with the Indian travel trade and attract Indian tourists to Greece.

Athens- based Hellenic Tours, one of the leading destination management companies in Greece, has always been in the forefront of the travel industry, and has always been committed to offering the best possible travel experience to their customers. A delegation of Hellenic Tours was recently in India. They made an elaborate presentation before a gathering of select representatives from the local travel trade at hotel The Claridges, New Delhi. Interacting with the trade representatives, the delegation highlighted potential of Greece as an attractive destination for Indian tourists. George Georgopoulos, MD of Hellenic Tours said, “We are very positive about the Indian market. I strongly believe that Indian market has huge potential for destination Greece.”

Greece has recently seen an increase in tourist arrivals from India, but the number is still modest considering the historical heritage and cultural diversity of Greece and its beautiful natural landscapes. Both the countries have a lot of shared history and culture that also make Greece an attractive destination for Indian tourists.
