Sabarimala season: Special trains to Kollam

Southern Railway has announced special trains between Chennai and Kollam in Kerala in view of Sabarimala season and Christmas. Chennai Central – Kollam special fare train (06041) will leave Chennai Central at 6.20pm on Mondays and Wednesdays from November 13 to January 17. Kollam – Chennai Central special fare special train (06042 ) will leave Kollam at 4.15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from November 14 to January 11.
It will run on January 18 too.

Kollam – Chennai Cen tral Suvidha special train (82640 ) will leave Kollam at 4.15pm on January 16. Chennai Central – Kollam Suvidha special train (82635) will leave Chennai Central at 10.30pm on Fridays from November 17 to January 19. Kollam – Chennai Cen tral Suvidha special train (82636) will leave Kollam at 3.15pm on Sundays from November 19 to December 17 and on January 7 and 21.

Kollam – Chennai Central special fare train (06044) will leave Kollam at 3.15pm on December 24, December 31 and January 14. All these trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanasseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayamkulam. The trains bound for Chennai will stop at Perambur.

Advance reservations for all the trains mentioned above will commence at 8am on October 19.
