Route 40 – introduced the first electric car rally

The circuit, called The Green Expedition, will be held from 9 to 28 April 2018.

 The Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, through the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR), attended the presentation of the first race of electric cars, to be held on historic Route 40 of the Argentina Republic between 9 and 28 April 2018.

The launch was held at the French Embassy in Buenos Aires on 7 December morning. There, the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Nation, Sergio Bergman and French Ambassador Pierre Henri Guignard, who were the main speakers at the meeting were present.

The Green Expedition is a technical, ecological, solidarity and sporting challenge, organized by the agency ATYPIK Travel Organization and the French company SOJASUN. During the competition, which will tour the amazing Route 40 Argentina, drivers specialists on board of electric vehicles – cars, motorcycles, bicycles-, will try to keep feat.

The competition has the support of the Ministry of Environment of France, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Nation, of the French Embassy in Argentina, Business France, ICC France Argentine and Argentina Association of Electric Vehicles alternative (AAVEA).
