China holds B2B roadshow for its 3 provinces in India

India roadshow by Shangdong, Jilin and Zhejiang Provinces of China

A B2B event was organized under CNTO umbrella for promotion of three provinces of China for India market on 18th January 2018 at Bombay exhibition Centre during Outbound Travel Mart (OTM).

The event was on lines to implement the strategic arrangement of the National Tourism Administration on the development of tourism along the area of high speed railway and better integrate tourism products and market resources of the provinces. The key focus was on integrated promotion of tourism for three provinces of Jilin, Shandong and Zhejiang. China has accelerated efforts to enhance the Indian promotion so as to further raise the popularity of Chinese high speed railway brand in the international market.

Sharukh Kotawol from Blue Squares Consultants and Aiyesha Bahadur from ApolloVoyages also shared their experience of these destinations.

Yan Xiangjun shared that Shangdong’s unique charm with the Yellow River flowing though the greatest land, there are tremendous scenic spots such as Sankong, Mount Tai, and Penglai Pavilion and so on. There are 2 World natural and cultural heritage sites, 95 tourism scenic spots, 7 Chinese historical and cultural towns, national holiday site, 7 national reserve zones and 6 geological parks.

Chen Shoujun informed that Jilin Jilin sits in the center of Northeast Asia, is an ancient province with long history and vast land natural environment offers a profound and unique Chinese culture. Home to Changbai Mountain which is a natural ecological shelter for northeast China even for northeast Asia, it is the cultural and mental mecca for generations of the people of northeast China, native and original. The famous Tianchi Hot spring like a pool from the heaven, is the headwater for all rivers in the region. For thousands of years, its water remains the same amount. Two famous skiing resorts are in Jilin Province, named Wanda Changbai Mountain International Resort and Vanke Songhua Lake Resort. “We have 17 detachable aerial ropeways, half of China’s total” he said.

Zhang Yin of Zhejiang suggested that the province boasts various cultures such as Hemudu Culture with 7000 years of history, Majiabing Culture with 6000 years of history and Liangzhu Culture with 5000 years of history. The province has 7 national historical and cultural cities such as Hangzhou and Shaoxing that have distinguished traditional culture. Zhejiang province has abundant tourism resources historical sites, many places of interest and also various unique sceneries. There are more than 800 landscapes, more than 200 water sceneries, more than 100 biological sceneries and more than 100 cultural sceneries in total in Zhejiang. Jianglang Mountain and West Lake have been listed the World Natural and Cultural Heritage List. In the eastern part of Zhejiang, there are many water sceneries and filled with Buddhism culture, famous mountains and rivers in the western part, picturesque mountains and rivers in the southern part of Zhejiang as well as the ancient town of silk in the northern of  Zhejiang. The slender West Lake, the splendid Qiantang River tide, gorgeous Yandang Mountain, quiet Putuo Mountain and the endless ancient Canal form a beautiful destination for the tourists.
