BICC hosted the 7th Bali Process Ministerial conference
Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali was delighted to welcome around 350 participants, including Senior Officials and Ministers of the participating countries who arrived on the island to attend the 7th Bali Process Ministerial Conference on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime. The event was held from 6 – 7 August 2018 at the grandeur of Nusantara Room at BICC.
The Bali Process, co-chaired by Indonesia and Australia, has more than 49 members, consists of 45 member states and 4 International organizations which are the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the International Labour Organization (ILO), as well as a number of observer countries and international agencies. The meeting was held with the specific aims to address the issues of people smuggling, trafficking in persons, and related transnational crime in the region.
During the event a series of full day meetings and coffee breaks took place in several function rooms within BICC. The resort’s Executive Chef Manoj Rawat and his culinary team once again successfully showcased their expert in extending various selections of healthy SuperFoodsRX meeting break as well as delightful dinner that held at the beachfront Temple Garden under the beautiful night sky of Bali.
