WelcomHeritage Kasmanda Palace registered 20% growth in 2018
WelcomHeritage Kasmanda Palace, Mussoorie has registered a growth of 20% in the year 2018. The property experiences an average occupancy of 45%. It is to be noted that the property registered this exceptional growth despite the fact that it was operational for 11 months in 2018 (due to heavy snow and other factors).
Talking about the growth, Dinkar Singh, WelcomHeritage Kasmanda Palace shared, “These are motivating numbers, keeping in mind the operational period of the property. WH Kasmanda Palace is known as a hidden gem of Mussoorie and has been recognized as the oldest building in the city. Every year on an average we receive 1200-1500 queries and in season time, we see almost 100% occupancy. It will not be wrong to say that there is more demand than supply. Last year we received 20% international guests and 80% domestic guests. The percentage of repeat travellers also increased by 25%, which showcase the interest of travellers for the property. We are optimistic for 2019 and expect an increase of 30-35% from 2018.”
