RezNext Enhances RezE

RezE Booking Engine, with Industry – First Dynamic Package and Promo Functionality for Direct Bookings. Key among new features is a 3 step booking process for faster conversions

RezNext, the world’s only true real-time enterprise distribution technology and profit management company, has revamped its internet booking technology with industry leading functionality to support dynamic packages and promotions. Core to the new functionality is also the 3 step booking process designed to help hotels improve their conversions.

“Direct bookings for hotels in India are still a fraction of the hotel’s total online sales. We believe the key to success is in the booking experience that the solution offers, the UI and the time taken to complete a booking. We also realise that a booking engine must have important functionalities like advanced promotions and dynamic packages to present lucrative offers to customers trying to book directly through a hotel’s website. Our current release addresses this need in the market,” states Avinash Lodha, Chief Executive Officer and CFO, RezNext Global Solutions.

According to Abhijit Dey, Founder – Managing Director, Starline Hospitality, “We are currently managing two properties in two very important destinations in India–Goa (Manthan Yogic Village) and Manali (De Vivendi Resorts). For both these destinations it is important to have various packages built in by seasonality. We have been able to achieve that with RezNext’s booking engine – RezE. The solution has a rich visual display which adds more appeal to our offerings. We are also able to build different meal plans to provide more value to our guests.”

“We have built the booking engine to serve as a prime marketing space for the hotel with the ability  to feature all room types, multiple meal plans, season based rates, customised packages and real-time update of rates based on market demands,” added Kevin Dcosta, Senior Vice President – Product Development, RezNext Global Solutions.

RezNext’s booking engine – RezE has been built to provide a great booking experience across devices. The solution has custom built designs for all devices to ensure optimum usage of the booking engine across any platforms. According to Bartibaraj Somaasundaram, Chief Technology Officer, “The new release of our IBE is tightly integrated with the hotel’s website to have a similar look and feel and also provides a search widget on the hotel’s website to facilitate an instant booking decision. We have also put lots of focus in building a robust technology platform for the booking engine that delivers faster page loads.”

Key features of the new release include:

  • User Interface with user configurable colours, fonts and themes
  • Supports unlimited rate codes, rate plans, rate fencing and rate restrictions
  • Length of stay (LOS), booking window based rates and promotions
  • Stores foot fall tracks on consumer usage
  • Digital cancellation policy facility
  • Integrated weather forecast and currency converter
  • Calendar based view across room type and meal plan showing rates and availability
