Sabre named one of India’s 50 best companies to work for in IT & ITeS by Great Place to Work
The research and consulting firm Great Place to Work has named Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), to its prestigious list of India’s 50 Best Companies to Work for in IT and ITes, 2016. Sabre was selected based on the annual Trust Index© Great Place to Work’s employee assessment survey of IT and ITeS organizations across the country. The survey measures companies on a multitude of factors including employee engagement, trust, work-life balance, career development, and rewards and recognition.

Sabre survey highlights
Sabre achieved high scores across several different areas covering innovation, diversity and workplace environment. It also exceeded many/most survey benchmarks for the IT software industry, with 87 percent of employees voting Sabre a Great Place to Work.
Sabre was also highly recognized by employees in the following areas:
– 88% employees felt pride in developing transformational travel technology products
– 82% agreed to a strong sense of trust between the employees and management – camaraderie
– 91% voted that they experience a fun and friendly work-environment at work
– 89% voted for a high level of work-life balance
– 90% showcased that the organization was encouraging a non-discriminating work culture

The Bangalore centre was set up in 2005 with the aim of supporting Sabre’s global operations and clients across its businesses – Airline and Hospitality Solutions and Travel Network. Currently, the centre has more than 1400 employees, double that of last year, and has expanded twice to accommodate new hires. Over the last decade, the center has been instrumental in developing software solutions that have driven the future of the global travel marketplace across airlines, airports, hotels, car rental outlets, railways and cruise line, tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies and corporate travel departments. The centre recently expanded in India to accelerate product innovation, development and global operations.
