Outstanding presence of Argentina in Ireland
INPROTUR participated in the International Tourism Fair Holiday World Show in Dublin.
The Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, through the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR), had a strong presence at the International Tourism Fair Holiday World Show, held in Dublin, capital of Ireland from 27 to 29 January 2017.
Holiday World Show is held every year on the grounds of the Royal Dublin Society (RDS). This edition featured more than 30 countries, including Argentina, who exhibited and exchanged their tourist proposals with different players in the sector, such as agencies, hotels, airlines and cruise companies, among others. National representation participated with an institutional stand of 12 square meters. The same was attended by staff and officials of the Argentina Embassy in Ireland, who advised for three days the large crowd that was present.
It should be noted that, besides the public interested in receiving information on Argentine destinations, many people who have visited our country approached. In all cases stories were heard absolute satisfaction with both the scenery and visited cities, and the friendliness of the people, the food, wine and Tango. In turn, they could enjoy a wine tasting Malbec, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and the flagship beer Quilmes.
Visitors to the stand were Argentine tourism promotion material – maps, books tours, brochures activities, merchandising – sent by INPROTUR. Patagonia turned out to be one of the regions most interest aroused in public.
Moreover, it is important to note that the agency Irish Travel New World – the largest in the local market specializing in travel to South America – participated in our booth and provided advice on packages, tours, prices, airfare and hotels our country.
