IndiGo introduces 2nd daily flight between Kolkata and Pune
In line with its commitment to provide enhanced connectivity to business and leisure travellers, IndiGo, India’s largest and fastest growing low-cost carrier is pleased to announce its second daily direct flight between Kolkata and Pune with effect from June 01, 2017. Passengers who wish to travel on this route can book tickets at an inaugural offer of Rs 2900 onwards.
Commenting on the new flight schedule, Aditya Ghosh, President and Whole-Time Director, IndiGo said, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce our second daily flight between Kolkata and Pune. We have witnessed a sharp increase in travel demand on the Kolkata-Pune route. With limited direct connectivity options available on this route, passengers are forced to align their schedule as per the availability of the flight. This additional flight hopes to bridge this gap and provide a hassle-free yet affordable option at the same time.”
The late-night departure schedule from Kolkata and Pune will provide a convenient and viable option for business travellers to explore the city and catch a flight after dinner. With its fleet of 134 Airbus A320 family aircraft, IndiGo now operates 934 daily flights connecting 46 destinations.
