Tourist Visa

The Applicant must possess a passport valid for a minimum period of three months beyond the expiry of visa.
One Visa application form duly filled in and signed (photocopy is allowed).
One Recent passport size color photograph.
A covering letter from the applicant on company’s letterhead stating his / her name, designation, purpose and duration of visit.
Confirmed onward / return air tickets and proof of hotel reservation.
A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is necessary.
The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
All visa applications are referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and approval can take duration of 7 to 10 days.
Visa processing time is 48 hrs after visa approval is received.
Visa is Gratis (free of charge).

For Business

The Applicant must have a passport valid for at least period of three months ahead of the expiry of visa.
One visa form (photocopy of the form is also acceptable).
One Recent passport size color photograph.
Confirmed onward and return air ticket along with the form.
Sponsorship letter / letter of Invitation.
Proof of funds should also be attached with the form.
A letter of recommendation from the Indian Chamber of Commerce should also be attached along with the form.
A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is mandatory.
A letter of invitation from the Afghani business associate/s.
Extension of visa is possible only from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan.
It is to be noted that the visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue with 15 days (maximum) stay allowed.
Every visa application is referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the approval time can be 7 to 10 days. The processing time is 48 hours after the visa approval is received.
Visa is Gratis (free of charge).

Important: Visa is not issued for Transit / Work Permit / Seamen.
