 Visa Information for the Republic of Belarus (Belarus)

Visa Note & Fees

Tourist Visa

  • In order to apply for visa of Belarus, the personal presence of the Applicant is necessary.
  • The Applicant must have passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application of visa;
  • One visa form (photocopy is allowed) is required
  • One recent passport-size photograph is required
  • The applicant should attach a cover letter along with form requesting for a grant of tourist visa
  • A copy of invitation from the tourist organization of Belarus along with tourist voucher
  • Medical Insurance documents from the Embassy appointed Insurance agent “Radiant Overseas Pvt. Ltd.”
  • The visa processing time takes a period of around 5 working days.
  • However, the express visa can be prepared in 2 working days by paying double of visa fee amount.

Transit Visa

  • Visa is required.
  • This visa can only be obtained if the onward visa is stamped on the passport and the Applicant holds a confirmed air ticket.
  • Other basic documentation is required for Tourist visa.
  • The visa processing time is 5 working days.
  • Express visa is prepared in 2 working days for double the visa fee.

Business Visa

  • The Applicant should be present in person, while applying for the visa.
  • The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application of visa.
  • Two visa forms (photocopy is accepted).
  • Two recent passport-size color photographs.
  • A Covering letter from the Indian Company.
  • An Original invitation from an Organization in Belarus typed on its official letter-head and certified with a company seal.
  • If the inviting company is a private organization than the Company Registration Certificate is required, duly notarized in Belarus.
  • Bank statement of last six months of the Applicant and the Indian Company.
  • The Medical Insurance from the Embassy appointed Insurance agent.
  • Visa will be valid for 90 days for single and multiple entries depending upon the particulars in the Invitation letter received from Belarus.
  • The visa processing time is 4 to 7 working days.
  • Express visa is organized in 2 working days for double the visa fee.

Note: Medicals are required from any doctor in India for stay of more than 3 months.

Work Permit Visa

  • Visa is issued.
  • The sponsor in Belarus is required to apply for the permit to the Ministry of Labor in Belarus.
  • If approved, work permit will be sent directly to the Applicant in original.
  • Later, Visa may be applied by the Applicant individually with the same documents as required for a Business visa.
  • Visa processing time will be same as the Business visa.

Seamen Visa

  • Belarus doesn’t issue Seamen Visa.

Student Visa

  • The Applicant must have a valid passport (with a set of photocopy front and back).
  • One duly – filled visa application form (photocopy is allowed)
  • One passport-size photograph
  • A confirmed offer letter for study (in original) from a University or other educational establishment / institution in Belarus needs to be attached. In this case, a single entry visa can be granted.
  • Photocopies of Birth Certificate, Marks Sheets and Educational Certificates legalized in the Counselor Department of the Ministry of External Affair should also be attached with the application form
  • Medical certificate from an Embassy appointed doctor for AIDS and,
  • Medical Insurance from an authorized agent of Belgosstrakh in India should be taken.
