Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in Sri Lanka organized a FAM trip for Indian wedding planners
In line with the marketing strategy for 2018, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts will focus on promoting destination weddings for Indians in their 10 breathtaking properties in Sri Lanka. To boost this plan, they recently hosted a group of reputed wedding planners from India to provide them an opportunity to see and experience Cinnamon group of hotels as a viable option for destination weddings closer to India. The group constituted of representatives from weddings and events companies like Moldavyte, Nyka Events and Indian Wedding Planners.
The wedding planners got a firsthand experience of how each of the Cinnamon properties offer varied themes and amenities for the discerning taste of the Indian families. Several site inspections were conducted along with meeting different vendors and banquet teams to understand the infinite possibilities to host a larger than life destination wedding.
Talking about the initiative to conduct this FAM, Dileep Mudadeniya – Head of Brand Marketing, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts stated, “The concept of destination weddings has become extremely popular among the Indian audience and people are exploring offbeat options for the big day celebrations. We believe that Cinnamon has great potential especially because one can pick any property depending on the theme they have in mind; be it a beach facing location, ballroom style, a vintage garden set up by the misty mountains or a forest themed wedding. Sri Lanka is a stunning destination and a viable option as it is geographically closer to India with the perfect topography. We got some great feedback from the wedding planners too who also gave us valuable insights of the Indian market”.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts deliver a complete tropical island paradise experience through the idyllic coastlines, lush jungles and rugged mountains with a range of 10 gorgeous themed properties to choose from in Sri Lanka. Turkish themed Cinnamon Bey Beruwala is one of the largest resorts along the southern coastline with 200 rooms and 6 specialized dining options. An ideal destination for an extravagant ocean living.
