Dubai Motor Festival 2015 gears up to offer ‘FEEL THE RUSH’ motoring experiences

Professional rally driver Ken Block star attraction of festival’s 3rd edition from 10- 21 Nov 2015

Motor mania will hit the streets of Dubai as the organizers of the 3^rd edition of Dubai Motor Festival (DMF) revealed a sneak peak of what motoring fans can expect in the 12-day high octane, one-of-a-kind festival. Being held from 10 -21 November, DMF 2015 will further cement Dubai’s position as a hub for world class events and festivals.

Held under the patronage of His Highness, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the citywide festival organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), promises families and tourists from around the world unique motoring experiences that embody its tagline for this year, ‘Feel The Rush’.The organizers have put together an even more exciting line-up of motoring entertainment that includes several activations and appearances by the international motoring icon and professional rally driver, Ken Block.

Professional rally driver Ken Block has competed in a number of sports such as motorcross and snowboarding. He is also the co-founder of DC shoes and is currently head of Hoonigan Industries, an apparel brand for auto enthusiasts. Having accumulated five X Games medals since the start of his career in 2005, Ken Block will be bringing his amazing skills and talents to the Dubai Motor Festival this year.

Commenting on his participation in DMF 2015, Ken Block said: “I’m really excited to be coming to Dubai for the Motor Festival in November. I had an amazing time visiting Dubai for the first time earlier this year and ever since then I’ve been looking forward to coming back with my Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR from Gymkhana SEVEN. I think the fans in Dubai are really going to enjoy seeing that on display, as well as in action during some of my demos!”

DMF 2015 will serve a world-class array of events and activities designed to delight and make motoring entertainment accessible to the entire family and create a memorable experience for motor enthusiasts of all age groups and nationalities. Here are the key festival highlights:

Motor Village 2015

The Meydan in Nad Al Sheba will be transformed into a fascinating world of motoring entertainment as it plays host to Motor Village, a unique concept of Dubai Motor Festival. The Motor Village aims to provide visitors the best and latest in motor experiences with amazing exhibits, competitions, entertainment and more. There is something for every kind of motor fan, both young and old with plenty of photo opportunities with some amazing luxury and sports vehicles. On the opening day, Motor Village will host numerous motoring events for visitors to view and actively participate while the second day will feature the super and luxury motor element with the Dubai Grand Parade and Marques d’Elegance contest.

Dubai Motor Festival Marques d’Elegance & Dubai Grand Parade

The world’s finest and most amazing vehicles gather around Dubai for one of the region’s most awaited motoring events. From cars to bikes, trucks and more, you are sure to see something that will amaze you, as they parade around in Dubai. Alongside the parade will be the Dubai Motor Festival Marques d’Elegance, a title given to the most striking and magnificent vehicles of them all, as well as the Best Decorated National Day Car competition, which will give participants the opportunity to show their national pride and love for the UAE.

Dubai International Motor Show

The largest and most established motoring event in the Middle East, the Dubai International Motor Show returns this year as part of the 3rd annual Dubai Motor Festival. After over two decades of motoring experiences, this motor show now will host yet another amazing exhibition of the latest and best in the world of motoring. The Dubai International Motor Show connectsthe global automotive industry with motoring enthusiasts and professionals from across the MENA and South Asia regions.

Supercar Rides

Supercar Rides was conceived with the objective of being able to share the passion of motoring and ‘Feel the Rush’ experiences with everyone. Fulfill your dream of riding in a supercar as you experience a drive through the streets of Dubai in a luxury ride, a truly unique experience unlike any other.
